"We have never before had a sire that has stamped his progeny with the same consistent quality that this bull has."

HF TIGER 5T
World Angus Forum
Grand Champion Yearling Bull
Owned with Ring Creek Farm  -  Fairview Alberta

Owned with: Geis Angus Farm & Soo Line Cattle Co.

HF Kodiak 5R was the high selling bull calf in the 2005 Masterpiece Sale selling 1/2 interest to Soo Line Cattle Co. and Geis Angus Farm for $45,000.

Kodiak is a very complete package, his sterling pedigree, moderate Birth Weight and excellent performance has been admired by many respected cattleman. Kodiak's dam, Ruby 955N and the entire cow family are very solid building blocks to base a breeding program. Sandy Bar Advantage 43M certainly clicked with Ruby to produce a herd bull with the muscle shape and fleshing abilities of Kodiak.

Kodiak's first calf crop has now been weaned and what a line up of cattle he has created! We have never before had a sire that has stamped his progeny with the same consistent quality that this bull has. With his already impressive EPD's for birth and performance don't be surprised to see his birth numbers drop after this 2007 year calf crop is submitted. Cows bred to Kodiak consistently calved 5 to 7 days early, had very light birth weights and weaned heavy.

We believe Kodiak progeny will be instrumental in taking the Hamilton Farms registered cow herd to the next level in the Angus breed.
