Hamilton Farms is a dynamic purebred cattle ranch that is family owned and operated in the foothills, northwest of Calgary. We hope you enjoy your tour of our farm as one of the most progressive Black Angus establishments in Canada.
Hamilton Farms has been raising high quality purebred Black Angus cattle since 1981. We have had an extensive embryo transplant program for many years. This has enabled us to put together a herd of closely related females that consistently produce bull calves that are widely accepted by commercial cattlemen and heifer calves that develop into high-end replacement females.
Our commitment to continually improve our breeding stock is on going and our awareness of important economic traits such as calving ease, early growth, and feed efficiency is higher than ever. The Hamilton Farms branded beef program has helped us select cattle that will function in the pastures and the feedlots with maximum yield with the least input costs.
Although our primary focus is the
Hamilton Farms Annual Bull and Select Female Sale held the second week in December, we have females for sale as well as semen and embryos. Please feel free to contact us for availability.
